This will enable you to show several latest posts for selected forums instead of standard last post info. Number of latest posts is set for each forum separately. Be noted that this executes 1 new query on forumhome/forumdisplay per forum where you choose to show 2 or more latest posts. In combination with "Cyb - Sub-Forum Manager" this can really improve your forum listing look.


Installation:
Code: 
-Import XML file (as product) through AdminCP: Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]

To set options:
Go to: vBulletin Options > Cyb - Last Post Info Enhancements

Tested on 3.8.x beta 3​
 
You have to go Admin CP > Forums and Moderators > Forums Manager

After that you will have to edit every single forum you have in your board.
At the end of table of Forum Edition you will find:

Last Post Info Enhancements
Number of posts to show in "Last Post" field
