custom forum name

I would like to kind of personalize the my forum name. I tried to use "Powered by <?php $vbphrase[username] ?>" in the forum name spot but that did not work. Do you know how I can do this?

IF you do not understand what I want, I want for it to say Powered by {username of the person viewing the page}.

just erase those <?php & ?> and it will work

XD wait a min $bbuserinfo[username] this will work BUT xD the problem is...xD that will show each user has powered so for example if i register in your forum it will say:
Powered by Itsuki Minami...if that's what you want then that is it

That is what I want But it still is not working :/ Does it need time to take effect and work?

o.o actually it must work instantly you see the phrase i posted is the one that display the username on the thing that says Welcome YOU, last visit, etc etc
