Does anybody know what's the normal CTR rate for #1 ? I am talking for niche keywords where the searched keyword also match the website url ,etc. I think you can find your information here
http://www.seomoz.org/blog/mission-imposserpble-establishing-clickthrough-rates It depends on your meta data. You need to write a compelling title for the ranking page and a good meta description so that people would be enticed to click on your site in Google. Hope I understand what you are asking exactly, but it has been proved that the number one position on Google gets about 50% click through, number two position gets about 25% and the remaining 25% is spread out across the rest of page one and possibly a fraction on page two. I thought it was about 40%, 50% max if you're meta data is spot on and the keyword is in the url etc hi
it better as much you can achieve , more the CTR more is the ranking. It depends on the search rate of that keyword.Generally 30-40 % visitor's are attracted towards the top 1st result and CPR is also high.
