Does anyone know how to create an absolutely positioned text page that has only the side scroll bar ( top to bottom on the left hand side ), ie. the bottom scroll bar need not appear unless the width of the text expands beyond the width tag. <br />
Cheers<!--content-->I think it is impossible to put a scroll bar on the left side (far left that is).<!--content-->Yeah, you can't move the scrollbar to the left of the page. The bottom scrollbar should only appear when necessary anyway.<br />

Perhaps I have misunderstood what you are trying to get at.<!--content-->Basically I can't see why absolutely positioned elements can't be like a frame and just have only a side ( up-down ) scrollbar. Have a look at the attached file.<!--content-->
