CSS reporting back after help

Dear All,

Your help has been invaluable to me, as I start from knowing nothing at all, and now I have a site up, with all pages mostly under external CSS control. Maybe I get a bit big for my britches - I started with one page, and very quickly got up to five, and now have 12 main pages, three photo-gallery summary pages, one special test photo page, and eighteen individual-photo pages. Geeez! That's a lot, especially when you have to edit each one, as I still do have to at least somewhat.

I was asking here about navigation stuff under CSS control, and oddly, I was playing with boxes, but found it difficult - and suddenly realized I rather liked the looks of the links without boxes, and also without underlines <g>.

So my links are naked, and behaving well - nothing to restrain them <g>.

It took me a while to get them reasonably placed on the pages, but mostly, I finally managed it, maybe with a few exceptions.

A few weeks ago, I was mentioning that I wanted to put in banners on all pages, and for my individual photo pages, I wanted to stack the headings on top of the banners I'd left mostly blank for that purpose. Well, today I actually succeeded with that - on a single test page. I have a lot of work remaining to do - tons! But the test page is up and visible on my site.

You can tell what a beginner I am by my wild excitement at having got anything at all passable up on my site!

<haha!> Just call me a Latter-Day Grandma Moses, and you won't be too far off (I have yet to set up my gallery to display a few of my Grandma-Moses style photos. (They're concocted ones, of course, though I do have one of my concocted photos on display, and it's very obvious which it is.

So this is a big, a huge - vote of thanks to you people who helped me so much, and you can expect me to come yelling for more help, too. Thanks so very much!
