Since everyone here seems to be big on css and all....is there away to make images using css..? hahaha... Just curious...that way I could have the ultimate css site.. I know it might be a little hard..but alot of hard work and such...I think it could be done.. Just thought I'd ask..you know..
Twisted-do you mean create them on the fly, or display them? if the latter then absolutely, if the former, you'll need PHP's GD, or an alternative.Mmmm...not the latter one....that is too easy. I was thinking more along the lines of creating the images color dot for color dot... or the main background image and showing another image over that image..and so on and so on..just having the image css file alone...or something... and showing it up in a certain spot on the site page...kinda would prolly look like some of the fubar images on ppls websites from on here I think...prolly.. I dunno... I know mine aren't the greatest either but...
Twisted-You could create images pixel by pixel in CSS but the code for it would be huge and the file would take ages to Download . (You would also need copious amount of HTML to go with the CSS.)
It would be very easy to put one image over another, although I'm not sure why you would want to, why not just have 1 image?http://www.designdetector.com/tips/csspencils.phpDid I really count 1451 divs in there? i got 1452...
and its not even valid...
although its quite nice that it still works with images disableda lot of people don't seem to realize that pictures are smaller file sizes than pixal by pixalindeed, however it is nice to be able to create images on the fly... that entire script could have been done in at minimum half the bandwidth required by the css & xhtml in the example through PHPMY GOD IT IS POSSIBLE! HOLY CRAP! hahaha.... dang!
But....yeah...when I clicked that link I kept looking at the clock wondering when the page would actually fully load lmao.. I thought it would be this time next Monday night for when it would be done... hahaha....but I see your points though hehe...my as well just use one image...or whatever rather then doing all that crap...my god.. Well...atleast the site or whatever would be like 98.99% CSS though...that's all that would really matter.. hahaha..
