CSS and Form Elements

Hello all--

I would like to make the background of one of my SELECT boxes transparent so that the background of my table comes through. Ultimately, I'd like to adjust the alpha filter to give it a different tint to the background.

Any ideas on this one?

--Jeremyyou can't. the select box is controlled by your OS and not by the browser. that is one of the few or of the form elements that are. you don't have any control of it. you can change the color of the background but that is it.So I suppose along with that cmes the answer to my next question:

Can I change the color of the "select bar" of my SELECT form objects.

I would think that if I can't the opacity of the background, it wouldn't let me mess with this either. But worth a try nevertheless.

Thanks,
--Jeremythe scroll bar or the little arrow pointing down? no, afraid not.
