I am trying to get this page to be consistent between
both Nestscape and MSIE. Can anyone help re-order
the "scrolling text" js and "Pop-up up" js line code
so that they work on both Platforms? They appear to
disrupt the tables in Netscape, but appear fine in
MSIE 5.0+

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!Funny. It was the other way around for me. In Netscape 4.5 everything seemed OK, except for a lot of empty space at the bottom of the page. In Explorer 4.0 the scrolling text wasn't aligned with the menu on top (not important) and a horizontal scrollbar that kept appearing and disappearing (terrible for a page that I assume requires a serious appearance).
You know what I would do? I would get rid of the javascript altogheter. For one thing, javascript is unfortunately mostly used for purposes that inflicts problems on the viewers. Thus, a lot of us turn it off.
So you would do well to design a page that is satisfactory even without javascript. And frankly, I don't think the scripts you have add to the quality of the page.
Text that may or may not appear when the viewer is paying attention or is interested in that part of the page.... Who needs it? And the menu on top is already easier to understand than most.
