Cross-browser width & height measurments

Could some tell me what is the equivalent of pixelWidth, offsetWidth, clientWidth and scrollWidth attributes that could be used across browsers? (I believe these names may only work in IE).

thanks in advance...This is not CSS.It wasn't so clear-cut, as the objective is styling. Not to worry, I'll repost in javascript forum. cheers
