Cron Job Issue

Just started using Link Checker Bot 1.1 found here on VBTeam - http://www.vbteam.info/vb-3-7-x-addons-template-modifications/13293-vb-linkchecker-bot-version-1-1-a.html?highlight=link+checker

Everything with it is working fine but when I run it I get this error -

Thats not as much as an issue compared to the next one...

I wanna run a cronjob for that script now when I go to manually run the script to test it it gives me this error under the first...

Fatal error: Call to a member function query_first_slave() on a non-object in /homepages/39/d241684755/htdocs/virutalfreedom/global.php on line 241

Hoping to make a cron job for this or it kinda defeats the purpose of link checking automation.
