Im a newcomer to unix based database's (please don't leave now that you've read that 
) and am trying to work out how to create a postgresql database file and insert data into it. I am competent in SQL but have only ever created databases in the win32 enviroment with pretty GUI's to help.
The ISP which i have to use does not allow telnet access, so is this possible, and if so, how would i go about it using either php or perl.
