creating a div over an image with resize function

I am creating a website http://www.darkfantasydesign.nl/ and i am using images, haven't really learned another way to create it easier. my question is the white space in the center, it's also inside the image. so i want to create a div inside there, that resizes with the rest where i can put in code, like an iframe or something? Is this possible?
