I am using Google Adsense to advertise, and am getting a lousy $1 per thousand impressions.Should I drop Google and put up banners from CJ.com? Or is $1 per thousand the industry average?$1 per thousand visitors on AdSense isn't too bad, you just need to get more visitors If you get 10,000 page views per day, and you're averaging $1.00 per thousand impressions, that's 300 bucks/mo.If you're getting 100,000 page viewsper day and averaging $1.00 per thousand impressions, that's $3,000/mo.I'm running a combination of AdSense, paid advertisements (directly paid to me by clients), and Affiliate Program banners on my sites. So then you find your affiliate stuff gets you about the same as the Google stuff?I only have about 3000 impressions per day so I don't really care yet, but it's growing (aren't we all), and just want to be ahead of the game.Sometimes the affiliates get me more each month than Google on a given site, sometimes they give me less. But, I run both at the same time on the sites, so I'm not sacrificing one in favour of the other Well one of my site draws really good traffic and I am running Google Adsense but not getting much out of it.How can I maximize my revenue. I have also tried Clicksor and AdBrite. They are even worse then Adsense.Any CPM based ad network you can suggest who pays really well.Well in Alexa Rating that site is now in the Top 10000 Any suggestions would be really helpful and will be appreciated.Regards,Vijaycamperjohn64 I used adsense for a decent amount of page loads (about 10000) and I was dissapointed by the result too. I would suggest clicksor and searchfeed.
