currently i am working seo for one website, have around 1000 pages. Today i changed in my website few pages, Copyright ?2010 to Copyright ?2011. It is live in website.
is it affecting my website because I was updated before the year 2011. Why would it have any impact at all? Google can't see that 2011 is a year and doesn't care. a number at the bottom of a page could mean anything to Google, it could be a phone number, zip code or anything. This is not important to google.
Now on the other hand, some visitors may think you've jumped the gun a bit. The worst thing is to forget about the year, a visitor may think a site is outdated or not updated if it says Copyright 2006 at the bottom of the page. I dont think it matters. It should change when the year starts. Have you got that hard coded into every one of those pages? It would be easier to maintain by using a variable or an
