Cookies settings problem

For some reason, on my vbulletin users are never logged in at the forum index, but when they go to a forum or something it automatically logs them in. Then they are logged in for every page. Something is wrong here...

- When you try to log in from the index, it doesn't work.

I have my cookie path set to '/forum/'

and my domain set at (blank). Any help appreciated.
 
I know, I have tried just the "/" and it still doesn't work. I thought sense maybe cause I have a vbulletin forum in a subdomain of my site (goobers.uber-warez.com) that would be throwing it off, so I tried /forum/.

No worky. :( thanks though.
