Convert XML into EDIFACT or GFF

How can I convert xml into EDIFACT and Generic Flat File formats quickly?
Is there an 'off the shelf' tool that will do this, or some Open Source software on the Net.

I guess I could use XSLT but why reinvent the wheel if there's already something out there?
