We are in a two step process of first setting our site up to use Macromedia's Contribute 3 for Content Management, and then the eventual conversion of our site from ASP/JScript syntax to ASP.NET/XML/XHTML. In the latter conversion, most of our site's data is going to become dynamic through the use of XML to store pure data.
But I know that Contribute 3 can't currently work with dynamic data, so I'm wondering what to do for that after the last conversion. One option would be to develop an intranet web portal for some employees to add and update dynamic data for the internet website, which we are beginning to do now.
But is there a Content Management tool that works very well with dynamic data such as XML, SQL Server DB tables, etc.? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
