complete data backup

hello every1

i want to upgrade from vb 3.7.2 to 3.7.3 and maybe change host and there r different ways to make a data backup but i wanted to know which one is the best so i dont loose any posts members...etc

You can this in your admin CP below Maintenance and than Database back-up. You most select all on yes, en than you click on ok. You can then download a file named Vbulletin.sql. They save you on your PC and than have you al data of you VBulletin board, and can you chacnge from host.

but when i enter tht page it says this is not a recommended way to make a db
