What is the exact diff between the compete & the google analytics because in google analytics the total unique visitors are only 2000 & in compete it shows the 12,000 unique visitors for last month march only.. Why that much of big difference here?? what compete & google analytics are considering to see the visitors??
Thanks in advance I would say Google Analytics is more accurate compare to Compete. I did not say Compete is bad but since each of them are using a different method to count the visitors, then GA should be more accurate.
If you have looked Compete carefully, their metrics seems like a draft more than a reality number anyway. Google analytic tool is the better one than compete tracking tool.
As Puripong says Compete is not bad one but since each of them are using a different method to tracking the websites. It's just that they do not have the same way to track websites. However I will tend to trust Analytics more. Google analytic is good one for giving exact tracking report for our site we prefer google analytic. Google analytic is most reliable . Stat counter is another tracking website . It is also give details result. GA and Compete offer two entirely different types of data; to compare them is to make a false comparison.
GA provides data regarding only the activities of your site, and then only to the extent that you have specifically instructed GA, via script installed by you, to capture.
Compete uses polling methodology to track all of the online activities of a sample population of over 2 million users. Using standard statistical techniques, they extrapolate the behavior patterns of the universe of all users across all sites.

By analogy, GA provides you with information about your household alone, whereas Compete provides information about all households.
