Companies that submit your business website to hundreds of search engines, claiming it will bring tons of traffic, etc.... Does it work?
If your already recognized by google, yahoo, and Bing is there any benefit?
I think it isn't worth it, am I wrong in thinking that way? For the most part it will bring you tons of email and SPAM after that. Send me your money instead and I will enjoy it. At least you will be keeping that money in the USA. I think it isn't worth it, am I wrong in thinking that way? When i first started a forum long time ago, i paid a service to submit my forum to a ton of search engines. It didn't bring me ton's of traffic but at least the search engine bot stopped by the forum. lol
Really all that you need to do is submit your website to the top 3 major search engines and do your normal link building. The other search engine bots (Less popular ones) will eventually get to indexing your website over time.
Right now, i get traffic from all of Googles search engines (multiple languages) and i only submit to google.com
That type of service i think is a cheap way for someone to make money. And if you happen to be a member with signature privileges here, adding your site to your sig will get it crawled in less than a week. Whether it is then indexed or not will depend on the content. As Scriptman says there is nothing we get except the spammy e-mail running out of Inbox. And even there is no need to get our website on hundreds of search engines (which are not used by many people). Google, Yahoo Search, Bing, Ask is enough in my view. Long time ago, I used to submit new sites to submitexpress to get it indexed fast. But now I think it is not of much use to submit to hundreds of search engine. They only get our email to send spam emails. I periodically submit to a zillion sites <engines>.......(I have software).....the spam comes to a dump account......
