I'm currently working on a design and noticed a HUGE difference between the colors on my laptop screen and my desktop screen. My laptop has some sort of "Ultra Bright" LCD display where as my desktop's monitor has a standard old LCD. With lighter colors it's not as noticeable but as I am currently working with darker colors it is much more noticeable. On my desktop the background I designed for the website looks dark purple, then on my laptop it is almost a medium shade blue? I was wondering how others approach this obstacle when creating their designs. Which screen type is more commonly used now?
