Are there any programmers out there who can help me out with Cocoa programming on MAC OS X. Specifically, I need help with using the Core Audio API?<br /><br />I am a newbie and I am having difficulty just figuring out how to play sounds using this API.<br /><br />These are the questions I have:<br /><br />1) How to play a sound stored in the computer using this API?<br />2) How to access the master volume control for the sound being played?<br />3) How to implement the number of channels the sound has?<br /><br />I need to ouput the sound to a firewire mixer device.<br /><br />Thanks a lot.<br /><br />AK.
