I quote a website promotion text that try to convince me and others to download their program. The program use few ways to help you get more traffic.Quote:I would strongly recommend that you do not resort to cloaking of webpages. For the most part search engines will penalize/ban you if they find that your website is resorting to this.If you goto this page:http://www.google.com/intl/en/webmaster ... lines.htmlLook under "Quality Guidelines - Basic Principles" and they even say there:Quote:This website I saw - does not convince me at all.- I just wanted to hear what other webmasters think about it .....I concur with BigwebmasterHeyTo be fair, they are trying to sell their product. Many new guys to SEO have probably bought software of this sort and have bumped their heads. In fact I'll go as far as to say purchase their software (spending your hard earned money) and learn why we suggest against it.Experience Bought is better than experience taught!the money made from offering instant results is insane, people that have a new page and assume they can be on the front page of google start seeing $$ and jump... only time and work will get you up there, not gimmics and $14,000Quote:We're testing a similar thing too. We serve a different page to visitors from different areas but what I'd love to know is depending on the datacenter does a certain page appear in the results according to which data centre?Sorry I'm hijacking this thread aren't I.I think the reason why in SEO some use cloaking is to display a graphical page to the user and keyword filled page to the crawler.
