Is it possible through CSS (or any other means) to change the character that is shown in the password field of a form? I have seen some sites that have big black dots instead of the asterisk, and I would like to do something similar.I don't think so. I believe the difference you have observed is the difference between windows XP and previous versions...Thanks. I just did some testing, and it looks like it is just a way that IE renders the password fields, as all of the Mozilla browsers used an asterisk.
