I have changed my current server to new VPS.Will it affect previous seo links for my site?I have also submitted my rss link to yahoo rss link directory and more.will it affect my SEO? There will be absolutely no change in your SEO value just for changing your server.
But there will be some defect if you also change your domain. It is not clear since the IP address of your site has changed. But, it would not affect you previous SEO back links since you have not changed your domain.

I have heard it but i am not sure about the importance of IP address on ranking results. Can any one explain more about the importance of IP address for ranking on Google? Keep downtimes to a minimum. You stay within the country, keep site info basically the same and you should the good to go. if it is faster then it should be even better if the server is slow then it can affect.. since site loading is now the factor that google considers.. Changing server wont affect you, no worries ) Quote: Originally Posted by priceless Hi,

Regards you'll have to:
1) add 301 redirect from old -> new
2) increase your patience
