I had a static IP up until a few days ago and so now when I try to open any ASP.NET projects(I have IIS running on my pc) VS looks for the site at the old IP address and fails. I have updated IIS with the new IP, is setting the IP in IIS what is giving me this trouble in the first place? Should I keep it at 128.0.0? Surely there must be something simple to solve this, I have looked everywhere you would think to in VS, tried Google and MS site the documentation etc. etc. It's probabley mention somewhere deep within the documentation as an aside.<BR><BR>Any help or Ideas appreciated. thanks!try using //localhost instead of any ip addresses if you can, especially if its not a server and just a workstation
