I am trying to ditch PHP and focus on .NET/C#. I think with PHP you are limited to web stuff only and jobs seem to pay lower compared to other programming languages. What is your opinion? Is there any other technology that seems to be in demand? My main issues with PHP are:[*]The language normally never changes/ it is simple to learn so anyoneout there interested in programmingends up doing php so if compared to other languages, phpdevelopers are not paid as much.[*]There are too many PHP frameworks thatare not backed by large companies sowhen applying for jobs, companies want youto have experience with thedifferent frameworks[*]The thing I like with .NET is thatlarge companies with a lot of cashare normally the ones who use itbecause it is expensive, unlike phpwhich is free n so anyone out therecan use itWhat do you think?
