Newbie MySQL question: I'm trying to create a table that has some fields set to char(XX) and others set to varchar(XX).
If I use only char(XX) it's fine, but when I add even one field set to varchar(XX), *all* the fields previously defined as char(XX) change to varchar(XX).
I'm using Win 2000, but also tried it on my Pair account (which uses UNIX) and the same thing happened, so it must be something I'm doing wrong.
Any help is much appreciated!
