Can't post on my site HELP!

I don't know for sure what's going on. The forum is looking/working fine, except when anyone, including myself as the main admin, goes to post something nothing happens.

We can type anything/everything up, but when we hit the Submit New thread button, the Preview thread button, or hit enter in the title area, nothing happens, not even loading, its almost as if the buttons were no longer coded to have a link or w/e....

I recently tried install vs Hide Hack Ressurection Extended, and vs Maintenance Suite, and it screwed my site a lil, so i uninstalled/deleted ftp files/fixed everything else.... Yet still no one can post. I've been trying to figure it out.

I have quite a few other mods as well, the only new ones I've installed recently though are(the hide hack things which are now gone) Automactic Profile commentor, and Intro on Register...

After I uninstalled the hide hack, i even went as far as to replace with the original board files that didn't have the edits. I even disabled the pluins and hooks system, still nothing... Idk what to do so PLEASE some one help me, I can not restart now, I've gone too far on this site.

Its not a template error as I have tried different styles, nor is it permissions... at least not that I have found. I will give any other information that is needed.

My Guess is that it's a bad file in the FTP or something. Files leftover from an unused mod or something happened after i switched the files that needed to be edited for hide hack back to normal files.

^ did you run check suspect file versions from the admincp...

if there is a file that doesn't belong it would probably be listed there... be sure that if a file is listed as not part of vb, that it is not a part of one of your hacks.

couldnt really even guess what would cause this without looking at the site.

You can try to run the Suspect File Versions in diagnostics that might show a bad file. Try disabling hooks and see if the problem goes away, if it does, your second guess may be the correct one. Find the hide hack you installed and try to back out the files it installed based on what you see in the installation kit. You might have a bitfield file in the xml folder that needs to be deleted.
