can't open my forum

upload all file to server (httpdocs\forums)and install the Bulletin...then I give my site address in address bar (http://www.mysite.com)but that not open..... then I give the address in this format (http://www.mysite.com/forums/) that open.....what is this problem..please guide me.....thanks

xD actually is just xD something really simple see your uploading the files to httpdocs\forums where httpdocs is your root, that means when you type www.mydomain.com/forum is the same as httpdocs/forums if you want the forum to open when you type www.mydomain.com upload everything to httpdocs

is hard to say why it doesnt open.
You dont give more details, i dont give much details back
Cant help you if i dont know whats wrong...
If it doesnt open, then example is Page 404 or Page 500 ... they both wont open, but the problems are different. start to give more details, and then wait help...
