Can't get this Site Search to work

After two days of looking for a Javascript Site Search I found JavaScript Indexer from www.iuliu.as.ro. />
It seemed promising since it will scan a directory and subdirectories and automatically index them, creating a database file.

Anyway I was wondering if there is anyone here who has used this program. I launched the .exe file and entered the info required, but as soon as I hit ENTER the program quits. Which shouldn't be a surprise, since it actually says "Press Enter to exit." But if you can't hit ENTER, how do you run the damned thing!?

Why don't I just go to their website for support, you may ask? Well, the documentation on the site is poorly written. And the discussion forum they provide seems dead. So you guys are my best hope.
Please help!
Thanks!Hi,
That site didn't have any information about the actual script, it actually wasn't even releated. You can find a few javascript search engines at http://www.hotscripts.com. However, I would highly advise you not to use these as the entire database is showed on the users computer, this means that you will only be able to spider a few pages or the user will not be able to load the page. If you can you should use a server side search program, many can be found at the site above.
Good Luck,
PaulHow about InteractiveTools.com's Search Engine. It's pretty reasonably priced, but is it good?

As far as a server side program is concerned. Is that something that can be user installed easily? Or do I have to contact the Host?
