So one of my sites is ranking well for Google but even better in Yahoo. Despite that, the traffic I get from google is 15 TIMES that of Yahoo!I thought that Yahoo was gaining popularity in the SE wars? Obviously, not so much yet here in Germany...there could be a lot of reasons for it.just because you're searching for one keyword doesn't mean that's what all if your visitors are searching for. and google, in my experience, is a lot better and delivering results for really specific things- that's how we get the far majority of our hits.we get about 15% from yahoo, about 80% from google, and about 5% from msn/etc.Yeah, if you use a reporting tool you can see that Google gets everything. Google is still the dominant search engine and will be that way for quite awhile. What Yahoo needs to do is get rid of the pfi and ppc within their serps so that they only have all organic listings.I personnaly dont understand why anyone would like Yahoo. Google has pretty much the same thing, except not even CLOSE to being as crowded. My motto: Keep It Simple.GO GOOGLE!The traffic I get for my sites are almost even from Yahoo and Google eventhough I am ranked much better on Google. It's a strange phenomenon. Don't know where my Yahoo traffic is coming from.
