Back again...
I have VS2005 and I am trying to add a new data source for my project...i do the following
Go to data menu (or project explorer)
Add new datasource
New connection
Access (i have tried all the types) database
click ok
browse for the data base click ok
then it says "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"...this occurs with all the other connection types..
If i choose another like ODBC data source if i click on anything the dilaogue box dissappears...
I have tried all of the so called fixes but non relate to this...
It works fine on my other machine when i installed it on that...but i need to use the one the error is happening on...
