can search engines spider mysql data basesi am trying to decide if i create a database which contents contain subject matter which i would like the Search Engines to consider to be included in the spideringis this possible? can it be done?can i include keywords in this database and if so how do i make the spider view thesekind regardsrichardWell, a MySQL database is something that runs on the backend. I don't think any search engine would be able to spider that data because most search engines that I know of only crawl data that is served through an httpd server. You could create a script of some sorts which extracts all of the info out of the MySQL database so that you can serve the data publicly through a httpd server. Then a search engine should be able to spider the data.Search engines spider the Pages on your website static of dynamic. If you create some dynamic pages with information from you mysql db, then they will get spidered. I do not think search engines can spider mysql, first of all "How will log into your mysql" ? Second why should they do that? If they find some way to do such thing, People will not approve such attempt.
