Can i dynamically change the path of my album in an xml file?

Here is what i need. each user in my website has albums of photos when they click the view button a new webpage opens where the user can view the photos one after the other navigate over the pictures. i tried using some open source code but the problem is it takes images from a fixed folder always who's path is mentioned in the XML file. I want to keep changing that path according to the users clicks. do i have to edit it in the xml or write a separate code for it. could some one explain it to me clearly with examples or codeimagePath="images/" this is the image path code in my xml file i want it to keep changing the subfolders according to the users click.Thank you
