Hi there..
We are in a bit of a dilema chaps!
We have a customer whom has started to give us orders in XML format. Therefore we decided to pay for a software application that costs us $15,000 (I know its mad!) that converts the XML and XML schema into a flat file format CSV file. From there we can then import this file into our backoffice warehouse system.
Anyways, it looks like the software house has gone bust and taken our money with them - go figure! What Im contemplating is if I can write ASP.net or translation coding that converts the XML file into a CSV format. I have downloaded some Internet tools, however they cannot convert the file as the XML structure is too complex.
All I really need is to scan the XML file and pick out the relevant information - doesn't sound too hard....
Anyways, any tips on this?
