How do you people calculate the download time of any website? I have just read somewhere that Yahoo has only 3 sec download time but not sure how to calculate it...DO anyone know about this here? Pageload speed checker, Google Chrome (dev tools) and Firefox (Firebug) will show you specific info about loading time and you can try iwebtool's speed test tool for fun too. There are certain tools available for the calculation of the download speed time of any website.The Web developer have much experienced that how they can calculate download time.It is really good thing to learn.I appreciate you that you are asking such questions here. In my own experiences, there might be no all-accepted standards for download time measurement since it would relate not only to the site server but also to the Internet connection from client side. Of course, Google does offer an add-on feature named "page speed" for Firefox Firebug.

While measuring your downloading time clear your browser's cache because if your browser's cache is not clear your website may load little faster than the actual speed. i want to know that too Brad's right.. there are many
