Steps to reproduce:[*]Open Visual Studio 2012 Express for Windows 8 (Metro App Development)[*]Left pane; select JavaScript as the language. Right pane; select Blank template[*]Click OK[*]Insert: \[code\]<button name="printbutton" value="http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15611379/Print" />\[/code\] into default.html[*]Debug (F5)The problem:When I start a brand new HTML5 + JavaScript Windows Store application, and add just 1 element, without making any further changes to the solution, the text value of the button element (\[code\]value="http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15611379/Print"\[/code\]), does not appear. Why is this, and have I done something wrong? See below for a screenshot:
I have tried setting the \[code\]Button\[/code\] element's text color to White (since the background is Dark), by adding \[code\]style="color:white"\[/code\] to the \[code\]Button\[/code\] element, but this did not have any effect at all.
