bulleted lists

i know how to make bulleted lists<br />

<li>something <br />
<li>something<br />
<br />
<br />
but there always circles, is there a way I can make the bullets numbers?<!--content-->in the ul thingy add type= and it can equal square, circle, or disk. Since you want numbers, wouldn't you just make your list like:<br />
1)Thingy 1<br />
2)Thingy 2<!--content-->instead of <ul> use <ol> that makes it ordered. not sure if that is what you want.<!--content-->This may help...<br />
