There is a site for Mac viewing (can't find the link I had)Hi,

Im a little confussed do i just install them and they will add that browser version so in a sense i will have like 4 versions on one machine or do i need to get different pc's or dual boot to test it on?

and OMG in browser archive are they ALL the browsers out there, i didn't know there where so many, can all of them be tested on PC, or do i need mac & linux aswell?

As advice how many and what browsers should i test my site on?

Thanks

Make sure the site looks good in at least Internet Explorer and Firefox, and I guess Opera could also be a good idea, although I never do this myself.Must have: IE5, IE6, Mozilla(Firefox), Opera
They can all be installed on one windows PC
It then depends on your expected user base, Mac, older IE, Moz., Netscape, Opera, Lynx.
Amaya, from W3C is an 'interesting' browser to check out.sorry to ask but how do i install a previous version of IE aswell as the latest?

Can that be done with Netscape, i really want NS 5

Thanks for all ya help
k0r54The evolt link has a page to Download stand alone versions of IE.
Just Download and un-zip in a suitably named folder. (note: it is NOT installed!)
As for netscape5, on evolt site just Download and install the OS/version required.sorry :o

So netscape i can only have either the latest or an older version

Thanks
AdamNo, as many as you like. I have 3 versions of Netscape installed out of a total of 15 browsers.
