Bringing old landing pages up to speed

I've got an interesting problem...

I developed a b2c and b2b website between 2000 - 2008 which I then sold...

The girl who bought it couldn't hack it and after 2 years I brought it back under my control, and I have spent the last year or so updating the look of the site, and removing the crap she'd put in there

The website is now (hopefully) ready to rock and roll and I started to develop some landing pages

Whilst doing this I found 145 pages I developed in 2007, I don't think they would meet current google guidelines as they are essentially duplicate pages with sets of text where key words have been changed to match searching customers.

That being said they are still indexed by google and are typically bouncing around page 3 on relevant google searches

So the question is

How do I develop this resource without getting the pages knocked off google ?

Does the fact that google still indexes them mean that google considers them ok? Or when I start to develop them will google find them and knock them off?

Hillman Hunter I think If those pages are ranking good than let them be there. Aside develop some landing pages i have a problem

the pages are not currently linked to ecommerce pages so currently no generating
