My site having bounce rate about 72%, is it good or bad? If bad then anyone give me solution. Also, one thing I want to explain that all my keywords are well ranked. What is the limit of bounce rate? Bounce rate basically depends on some important factors.
1) How Appealing your site is.
2) It's Loading time.
3) The quality of content and ease of navigation.
4) The source of traffic.
Even though you may be ranked well in the search engines, it isn't necessary your bounce rate should be low.
As long as the audience get what they came for, they will stay. Also do an analysis of your traffic sources, 72% is pretty high a bounce rate. You may have well ranked keywords but your content might not match what people are expecting to find from that keyword. However, be more concerned about your traffic to begin with - a 72% bounce rate from 100,000 visits is a lot better than a 3% bounce rate from 1,000 visits. If you're getting the traffic, that's good - but you might need to adjust your content to keep the traffic. I think your website is new and you yourself are the most visitor of your pages so your website has a high bounce rate. Is it true? bounce rate really depends on niche your website is.
For example, adult content sites have low bounce rate. Why? Because visitors will visit many pages, before they make their choice.
Another example of website with different product review may have high bounce rate. You searching for review of particular device you just bought, you found that particular page which reviews your product, you read it and leave.
So, 50% bounce rate can be very low for one niche, but too high for another niche. It all depends on your site and site category. What site is this for? Firstly, I would like to say that a bounce rate of 72% would be a little bit too high.
Secondly, my suggestions would be you might want to find out some really "money" keywords(especially those niche relative long tail ones) for your sites and offering attractive contents on the landing pages according to your targeted keywords for pages.
all the best, Your Bounce Rate is 72% means 72% visitors are going out from your home page (assume that you are targeting your home page). Make your pages enough interested so that visitors would like to visit other pages too. Visitors should get exactly what they were searched for when they land on your site.
