Bottom of Page Tables Don't line up

I am new at this and trying to write all the code so that i can learn. I think i've done "ok" so far, but have a problem that i haven't been able to solve for 2 days so i'm VERY gadl to have found this forum.

If you look at one of my pages www.stevelauren.com/hotel (http://www.stevelauren.com/hotel) and scroll to the bottom you will see that the gray table on the left does not line up with the bottom of the page (i'd like it to be flush with the bottom of the page).

If you look at the "main" beta page, www.stevelauren.com/dummy3 (http://www.stevelauren.com/dummy3) (from which i used the same basic structure) the pages indeed line up the way i'd like them to.

Any help and/or explanation of this would be appreciated.

Thank you.I must not be understanding what you mean. Both of those pages line up the same way at the bottom.Hmmmm...

I'm using MSIE 6.0 and it's not as i want, maybe i should try explaining further:

I want the gray table on the left to go to the bottom of the screen, as it does at www.stevelauren.com/dummy3 (http://www.stevelauren.com/dummy3)

while the gray table on the left at www.stevelauren.com/hotel (http://www.stevelauren.com/hotel) doesn't go to the bottom of the screen... the table stops short of the bottom and there is about 1/4 inch or so of the "orangish" background

Does this explain it better, or do you actually see the gray table on the left go to the bottom of the screen on both pages?

Thank you.

EDIT: the first page only "works" the way i want if it's a full screen... it too produces a gray table that doesn't go to the bottom if the screen is not maximized. So i guess it doesn't work properly for either page (and i still don't know why)Both go to the bottom of the screen. I'm using IE6.0 as well. Not sure why your not seeing it that way, we're both using the same browsers and everything.:)

-shrug-Daurus,

Thanks for looking at it.

Can i ask you to check one more time and see what happens if you take the screen off 'maximum'?

I just tried it on 2 others computers and have the same problem situation.

Thanks. If it's not maximized, then the table cuts off like 3/4 of the way down(like you described before).
