I was reading a page on w3.org and decided to try out their border-image example with no luck...
goto: http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-border/#the-border-image, scroll down a bit and look at the 2nd example which they claim they used the following CSS to make:
DIV {
border-image: url("border.png") 27 27 27 27 round stretch;
border: double orange 1em }
Now, I Download ed the http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-border/border.png image and tried messing with it in both IE and FF. I couldn't get the CSS to produce anything even close to what they claim http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-border/borderresult.png.
What am I doing wrong?
http://www.aplustv.com/public_stuff/css ... .htmYou're assuming that because the w3c says it, all the browsers do it. In this case I think none of the browsers do it.I couldn't make any sense of your post. Are you telling me that W3C gave us a fake example?No, I'm telling you that no browser I know of will do a border-image.is CSS3 out yet?is CSS3 out yet?
