I just noticed bing's alexa ranking today. It has improved the reach up to 24% within a month and 12.2% within 3 months. This is the biggest improvement for bing since it's inception. What did they do last few months. I think I have been missed on this.

They must have just had a lot of users coming in with the Alexa toolbar installed recently. Or, their webmaster postings have been getting a lot more visibility recently. I personally don't believe alexa toolbar is the only way for them to collect data. How many people in the world would have that tool installed? I think's it's well below 1%. I personally don't see anyone around me installed that other then my self. For them to have gained an increase, 2 things have had to happen.
1. People stopped using Yahoo and switched to Bing (Understandable considering W7 EI 9)
2. or Google has lost users (very doubtful) Could it be that Alexa is now counting Yahoo search requests as Bing's? In any case, Alexa overstates my own site's visits.
