Hi

Anyone else getting the following message when they log on to Bing Webmaster?

We could not find the page you requested.

It has been like this for 2 days. There are some techniques that you can use to get indexed into Bing,

1. Make sure that your site has a well formed HMTL. Make sure all tags are closed, there are no open tag unclosed.

2. Make sure that there are no broken links. Check if all the links on your webpage goes to the correct page where you are linking. If you have a broken link the MSNBot might not be able to crawl the website effectively.

3. Make sure that if you move a webpage to setup the original URL to redirect to the correct new page.

4. Make sure that the MSNBot is allowed to crawl the site.

5. Use a meta tags or a robot.txt file to control which files and folders you want the crawlers to crawl.

6. Keep your URL Simple and static, this will help people remember your urlsa that it is easier to crawl for the robots.

7. Watch for Malicious Softwares (malware). Example is a harmful ActiveX control or Javascript will be disabled and highlighted as Malware in Bing.

Hope that will help! Hi
Make sure that the MSNBot is allowed to crawl the site. Bing webmaster has a guide on its site. If you want bing to crawl your site, you might have an account with it and validate your site then put the path to your sitemap in your robots.txt file.
