Hi
I launched a new website a few weeks ago and the site is already ranking highly on Google when key keywords are searched for.
Bing however has not picked the site up at all. It is ranking nowhere, even if the site's URL is searched for.
However, there are other URLs listed on Bing's index that when clicked on, take you through to my site. I have not had anything to do with this but it seems that someone has bought alternative URLs and is web forwarding them to my URL.
Could this be stopping my site getting a ranking on Bing?
I can't name the sites for complicated reasons but any help would be welcome.
Thanks. You want to be indexed by BING, then make sure that your site has a well formed HMTL. Make sure all tags are closed, there are no open tag unclosed.
Also, keep your URL Simple and static, this will help people remember your urlsa that it is easier to crawl for the robots. Quote: Originally Posted by webmanuk

You can use Bing Webmaster Tool to get updates about indexed pages from your site on Bing, you can also check backlinks over there This very strange. bing is alway slower than google,.... but bing isn;t always changing as google Come on people, read the original post. There's something else going on here other than Bing taking it's time indexing the site.

Could this be stopping my site getting a ranking on Bing?... you did try submiting the URL to bing for submission?
