Hi to everybody from Italy, I'm going to be mad with this problem ( on one in italian forums ould help me )...

I made my first site with html and css and I have validate html 4.01 and css of every page ....

I can't understand why firefox can't read css and show anly text and images whitout css ...

this is the link:

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.tecnomove.it/">http://www.tecnomove.it/</a><!-- m --> ( it's only to hel you to help me ...)

I've no problems with Internet exlorer and opera but firefox ...

Thank you in advance , Roberto

ps: sorry for my english !Your server is sending the wrong encoding, UTF-16LE
Talk to your provider!I've talked to the society with whom I have the hosting ... but they told me that they have no problem with firefox ...EDIT: BAH! Fang beat me to it :)

But yeah. I saved your HTML and CSS to my local hard drive, which converted the HTML file to ISO 8859-1. The CSS file was recognized by Firefox when previewing my local, ISO 8859-1 version of your page.Thank you ... and so what can I do ?Do you have a .htaccess file on the server?Ok I think that the problem is that I've write the code with Windows Notepad and I've saved the file in UNICODE ... ( cause with thw default ANSI the validator don't recognize aphostrophes and accent ...) now I've tried to save it in UTF-8 but caracters are wrong and there is a line with this letteres " ? " ... and accents etc are not showed in the right way ...Save as ANSI and convert any special characters to entities (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/sgml/entities.html#h-24.2.1">http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/sgml/en ... l#h-24.2.1</a><!-- m -->)
Or pick-up the free editor HTML-Kit (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.chami.com/html-kit/Download">http://www.chami.com/html-kit/Download</a><!-- m --> /) which has the entity converter available as a plug-in (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.chami.com/html-kit/plugins/info/chars2entities/">http://www.chami.com/html-kit/plugins/i ... 2entities/</a><!-- m -->) .Thank you very much !!!!
