Hello Forum Friends:

I created about 2 articles to post on my blog for my dating sites. The article blog is located at a sub folder (ex: domain.com/articles/). On each article, I created a few links to link to my homepage for some keywords.

My question is:

Should I link to the homepage ONLY for some keywords?

or

Should I link to each individual page instead of the homepage ONLY?

Which method is better?

Thanks very much! You can link all the pages instead of linking the homepage alone. Hi,

I think you should make relevant links. Ex: If you wrote an article on "online dating" and you have a specific web page for it in your site, then you must link to that web page rather then the home page. Its important to make the link only on relevant keyword i.e. you must not give the link of online dating web page to a keyword like "dating in queensland". You must link the internal pages as well, it will enhance the overall worth of the blog. Hi,

Its obvious that each webpage of your site must be well linked internally, i.e. user can easily move through out the site. Building links to internal pages is important using related keyword friendly links to internal pages. You may target your homepage with your most competitive phrase and move on to targeting less competitive phrases on your internal pages. If you want to increase the rank of homepage only then you give the link to homepage otherwise you should give the link to other page also. You should link it on the specific topic of your articles..on that way, it is relevant for readers.

[REMOVED] I would say it depends on the age and current rank of your blog. At first I would aim to get a decent ranking on the homepage, then start to build up the internal pages too. Just make sure you have good internal linking.
