I need to convert 50 jpg files to htm. Then I can add links to the pages. I know that Irfanview has a batch converter, but not to htm. Does there exist such an application?Use the program at http://www.text-image.com/ . After you use it, go to view > source and steal the code.Sure...
Have a look at www.tucows.com
you'll find some photoalbum creators. Some will be freeware some won't. You'll need to read the descriptions and find the one that most suits your needs. Most of em will prob create a thumbnail index page for you to click thru to the batch created page with the original image.

Any probs after looking there gimme a shout and I'll try to suggest a few. At work at present and I have one on home pc... can't remember what it is call ed for the life of me...

Hang on I have a website online that uses this on geocities... If I can remember the url I'll post the program name. BRBok I think everybody missed something. if you convert any image to a htm it will not be a image any longer.

or did I misss somethingCant find it. Sorry... will post later if you still need a good suggestion.Originally posted by rjlstar
you can't steal the code RJ, it is a cgi program and all you see is the generated html of that process.i think he meant the ouputed html code for the generated image ;)and tha tis my point. a graphics program will not save as html. even PSP7 PRO will not do it.I can see that I opened a hornet's nest with the use of the word "convert". I know what has to be done:
Create a new HTML document and imbed-
I just thought it might be easier to do it in a batch method somehow. I could use VB but I am not very good with VB. Thanks all for replying.I understood what you meant.
Here a direct link if you didnt check out the one I gave you already to TUCOWS.
at least 10 programs in there to choose from, I am sure 3 will do what you want to do.

Try Easy Gallery Generator first tho... it is free and ight do what you need exactly.entimp:
I Download ed that WebIt. Looks like it will do the trick nicely. Thanks. It shouldn't be too hard to make a CGI program to take each pixel of a jpg and convert it into a million celled table.
